Sivir Spellshield against Trundle Bite

I just finished a game where I was playing Sivir. I was laning as usual and spellshielding against Ezreal poke, and I saw that Trundle was playing very agressive. I decided to save spellshield for his bite only to find that every time I tried to block the damage it wouldnt work. At first I thought maybe I had mistimed my ability, but through further attempts to spellshield his bite I confirmed that it was not an error on my part but must be a bug in the game. This consisted throughout the entire game and ended in my death multiple times. His bite is an enhanced aa, the spell shield of Sivirs like morganas black shield only blocks an abilities spell damage and effects. The reduced AD that Trundles bite causes is blocked by Sivirs shield but his damage (as it is counted as an autoattack) cannot be nullified.

TLDR working as intended.

IIRC, spellshields doesn't block autoattack-modifiers.

So it won't block abilities such as Nasus' Q, Rengar's Q, or Trundle's Q.
