Game start: Spawned outside of the platform gate

My champion spawned outside of the gate on the platform. I have no idea how this happened, also I was in my shop trying to figure out why the buy button was grayed out. And Kassadin was auto walking mid (presumably to enemy fountain.) This probably isn't game breaking but it happened to a friend of mine in a ranked game. But it was from last patch so the replay they had is dead.

Also I'm sure it's happened to more than just two people so this bug is probably on the boards somewhere I just didn't look too hard. Thanks for reading!
