Keep Crashing in the early game on mac

Ok so I’ve played league since about season 4 on macs and it’s been mostly fine. I have currently been playing on my MacBook Pro since around season 5/6. But ever since season 8 started I randomly crash within the first 10 mins of a game (sometimes slightly after and only on summoners rift). It doesn’t happen every game and I have no idea what causes it to crash, but is very annoying as usually you end up dying. Once I’ve crashed it doesn’t happen for the rest of the game. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled league of legends as well as done a full hextech repair. I believe the issue is something to do with season 8 since that’s when it started, not sure if anyone else has had this problem. I hope I can get a response from a rioter and maybe a solution to the issue.
