Riot... what are you doing spawning me without the ability to use abilities?

I started the game and could not lock my camera, back, or even use abilities. this is obviously frustrating, and even more when you are playing against a who can tower dive you and kill you and all you can do back to him is auto him. Has anyone tried to win lane with only auto attacks? It isn't possible. Riot you need to fix this bug because it is the most infuriating thing i have ever experienced in a video game. You made it Literally impossible for me to play your game. You won the lane and later the game for that Lee Sin's team. I also got reported after the game for feeding because i could not defend myself and continually died.

Happened to me when Sion first dropped. Was wrecking jax top lane, then suddenly, I died to a gank, respawned, an all I was able to use was my w and e. I reconnect after 8 minutes, and my team bitching, and was finally able to use my abilities again. I ended up carrying and my team stopped crying. I feel your pain. Bugs happen, though, and they'll be fixed.

Occasionally, when I tab out and quickly tab back in, the buttons don't seem to work.

Then I tab back out and tab back in, and it's clear.

Quite possibly, the 'window' that League of Legends is running on wasn't selected during that game, and so all the commands from your keyboard simply didn't register.

This happens to me sometimes, I play windowless border. For me, simply tabbing back in and out doesn't work.

I have two fixes for this. First, open My Computer (or just Computer, I guess) and make sure computer is the program immediately on top of LoL. Then tab back into LoL, back to Computer, close it, and click on the LoL window again. sometimes I have to do it a few times, but this normally restores function to my keys.

The other way is to finish the game, close LoL completely, go to C/riot games/config/ and delete input.ini. This will reset your quick-casts, but should fix the problem.
