Client crashing continuously then uninstalling itself

I'm not sure if I'm the only person having this problem, but for the past 2 to 3 months my client crashes 5+ times before it opens. After I double click the icon the league of legends logo pops up as it should but then it becomes unresponsive before the client ever loads then an error message displays asking to close it or wait. I close it and usually it works after a couple tries. This time though it wouldn't work for an entire half hour I was trying, I restarted my computer, and every league file was wiped, so now I'm stuck redownloading the entire game. This is the second time it has been wiped from my computer in this manner but I cant find any recent threads on this problem.
