Possible Ward Bug

I was playing support last night and i noticed that when the enemy would go to ward our tribush, the ward wouldn't disappear, like i had a control ward in the bush. i assumed that it was one of the sweeper plants, but this happened whenever he placed a ward, i just walked up and cleared it as if i had true sight. i kept pinging the wards, but no one else could see them.
