Moutain drake increases DAMAGE and smite does true DAMAGE, that's what it says, Mountain drake does not effect the DAMAGE you create through Smite. It is true damage so it's not effected by many things like armor, etc. but what if the target "takes additional True Damage" that certainly would be put in effect and is what is happening and being ignored by the game.
Except for "True Damage" is not effected by outside multipliers, thus being TRUE damage. It can not be reduced by the effect of Exhaust which reduces DAMAGE dealt..... So it also does not get an increase of damage because of mountain drake.
True damage isn't affected by damage amplification or reduction effects.
That is the entire purpose of true damage.
It was changed a long time ago to not effect smite. It made it impossible for junglers of = level to have a far smite fight if one team had earth drake.
