When I use MB4 or MB5 I will occasionally get alt tabbed out of game. I am playing full screen and this problem started occurring a few weeks ago. I believe it has something to do with the new client and how I have another program open while I'm playing LoL, such as Google Chrome, Spotify or Discord.
This issue has been driving me insane for weeks now since the new client update. It occurs even if I don't have anything else open, but i notice it always happens when i start my client up in my first 2 games then it never happens unless I resign in. Due to seeing your post I did test it and it does occur from using the mb4/5 buttons - specifically when they are set use items that are usable. Really hope this issue can be brought to attention and fixed Riot - I've met countless people in game who have experienced it with no clue as to the cause.
Ive been posting a possible workaround for this on every thread. Let me know if it worked for you. Log in, then open task manager and close process called "RiotClientServices.exe", don't close the whole tree. No more tabbing out. Note that if you relog the process restarts and you have to close it again once you're logged in. Hope riot fixes the issue, but at least i can enjoy a whole session without losing a major teamfight because i pressed mb5 :)

This happens to me too, i have my camera center (default on spacebar) and i've died quite a few times trying to center the camera on my champion but getting alt tabbed instead.
this happens to me as well. the game also likes to stop mouse input at random points in a game and i have to alt-tab to fix.
Having laugh and mastery on those mousekeys has been killing me the last few weeks, but it seems like it only happens once per session, generally on the first one, until you log out/exit client and open it again. For me at least
Yo, this was happening to me too and I thought it had something to do with my janky off-brand mouse. Good to know it's a bug.
Same here. First game after signing in, When I hit an enemy minion or champion, I get alt-tabbed out of the game. Quite harsh when enemy invades..
I also have this problem, when I use MB4 / 5 alt tabs in the game! Someone can help me ?
I use mb5 as my toggle for target champion only and it doesn't seem to have ever alt-tabbed me. Granted I use it maybe like 8 times per game.
