[Client] New Champion Select doesn't let me select on my turn.

Since the new Champion Select has been implemented over half of my games have failed to allow me to select a Champion on my turn. This of course leads to a message telling me I dodged and penalizes me with time and LP reduction. It displays that the opponent has 0 seconds to pick and stays there. Then in the chat it says all my team members have left and soon afterwards it tells me I dodged and can't start again for 30 min. The chat looks like this:

You are now in a chat room with your full champion select team. Swish Willis joined the room. xxxxxxxxxxxx joined the room. xxxxxxxx9622 joined the room. Swish Willis: omg why doesn't this matchmaking work for me 21xxxx21 left the room. xxxxxxxxxxxx left the room. xxxxxxxxxxx left the room. xxxxxxxx9622 left the room. You did not lock in your pick or ban. Your group was removed from matchmaking. You are now back in a chat room with just your premade."

It is frustrating because sometimes it works and most times it doesn't. I've lost 30+ LP and am getting a lot of time penalties. Please help.
