THE PROBLEM IS: Bots regularly pull off inhuman feats, and ignore game winning goals to compensate and make it still winnable.
Bots will never target a pet or illusion rather than you.
You can not surprise a bot
You usually cannot beat a bot on reaction time alone
A bot knows when it has enough and does not have enough damage 100% of the time
Bots know when they COLLECTIVELY have enough damage to insta-kill, and will never stack cc in most cases
And because a bot isn't generating a set of controls actually trying to click you, you can't dodge a bots mouse as well as you could a player.
This changes the game conditions to avoiding someone hitting you, to always making sure they can't; and frankly I think it's why new players are so bad.
In addition to give a human the consistent ability to win it seems:
They wont focus objectives properly
wont wave clear effectively
and can be guided in any direction to fulfill their conditions, often even led behind tower
(but you can't juke them)
So for 30 levels risky plays that bring a person into high elo are conditioned as IMPOSSIBLE, and we play a version of league without objective rushing, understanding of priority, or mouse dodging, and wonder why people are bad at the game after such a long intro and so much practice. You're preparing people for what they're going to be doing more poorly than public schools, and it's sad that this is still how riot games wants us to learn, and still doesn't see improving the bots as a priority. Please see to reason eventually, Git Gud, is not a good reason to ignore this...
