Can't Reconnect To Game

So, my PC crashed after I got a kill on the enemy top laner and when I got back on League, I hit Reconnect but it will briefly show "Game is still in progress..." and then go back to showing the Reconnect button. I can hear the people I queued with in my headset and they can hear me, but I can't reconnect. They're literally in a 4v5 atm and there's nothing I can do because the client is broken man. Really disappointed in this client bug and there should be some type of loss prevention for crap like this. It's frustrating to me, the people I am queued with, and the rest of my team.

EDIT: It shows I'm "In Game" up by my avatar but there's nothing I can do to rejoin. Still listening to my team struggle in the 4v5 that they are holding their own (we definitely would win with me in) and I can't do anything to help them.

EDIT 2: So after they lost, now my game is patching, and seem to be the only person doing so...?
