Are you in a premade? As it stands only premade groups have access to League Voice.

I want to start by saying I do not think your crazy, I myself do this a lot because I have a tendency to disable voice chat for warframe by plugging in the headphones, lowering the volume and muting myself.

Would it be possible the volume control on your headphones is turned off

As a techie, don't ever start a description of a problem you want fixed with "I've tried everything". Cuz then what is there left to do? Give details, because if u'd actually tried everything then it would work.
