Champ Select Glitch, Severely Frustrating

Hello there, I am currently experiencing a strange and deeply aggravating glitch that is threatening to ban me because I am unable to prevent it.

I play co-op vs ai, intermediate every day or so and every 6/10 games, I experience the glitch.

During champion select, I can only select summoner spells, masteries and runes. Everything BUT an actual champion. No matter what I do, no matter how hard I click on someone, when the timer hits 0, it selects a random champ and insta locks it.

This causes frustration for my team and I as I not only find no joy in trying to play a random champion on the fly but I'm still fairly new at this game and my team mates just threaten to report me because I can't play the champion right and only let them down.

Please, if there is any fix to this, please let me know or perhaps review the incoming account ban I'll receive, I really have no control over the champion select anymore, PLEASE help. I have tried reinstalling, client repair, firewall checks, nothing, fixes it that I can possibly think of.
