Is this some sort of a bug or is it something else that I am not aware of ??

Yesterday when I finished playing for the day, I had 3000 BLUE ESSENCE. Today when I logged in, I had 10000 BLUE ESSENCE, and I also noticed that some champions had its BLUE ESSENCE cost reduced by 50%,not only RP. Is this some event or a RIOT gift or just a bug ? Tell me someone pls.
