alpha client

i just wanna ask about something i have downloaded the alpha client for windows NA but i have noticed something the client is too slow really very very slow in the champion select also when i change my summoner icon it takes like 5 min to be able to see it as the new one so i was asking about are u guys still improving it or it will be like this thanks in advance :)
