[Client] - Doesn't load, crashes, etc

Every single time I try to update to patch 4.17, my game starts up all normally, but when it gets to 33% it doesn't load past that because it just says "scanning files" and it gets to about 2k files. Idk what to do now! Btw my client crashes sometimes. HELP PLZ3RIN0!
