LeaveBooster Bug?

I was playing with a friend and he had a LeaveBooster for 20 minutes, and i was like okay, we'll just wait it out and...20 minutes passes and my friend says to me that he has 11 minutes left....we wait 11 minutes...and i ask my friend to screen share, he does and IT'S 20 MINUTES , IT RESET FOR NO REASON. Is this a bug or am i stupid?
