Auto-attack comand dont works if you send the command right above your champ

So that, I want to ask if Riot Games can fix that I play with attack move on my "A" key and if I click "A" above my champ I simply dont move and it doesnt attack anything and this is soo anoying because sometimes I need kite at shot distances when a target is close to me. If you use attack move over your champ the logic is to attack the closest target to your cursor but this bug cause a lot of damage in micro game.
