Twisted Treeline Mastery Score
It says on the queue screen that Twisted Treeline gives mastery and it does add points but I achieved as S rank as level 5 mastery 
and didn't receive a level 6 token.

Not technically a bug. The support article clarifies that Mastery tokens are only available in classic SR, even though that's both unintuitive (as you pointed out) and illogical.
it was always like that lvl 6 and 7 tokens just on the rift
