Me and a friend are trying to play ranked together for the new season and it says that the difference in rank is too high is this a bug or what?

its just until you finish placements (the first 10 games) then you can play together

i think, not completely sure though

What were your ranks last season? Would you have been able to queue together based on your end of season ranks? Unranked counts as silver for the duo rule.

Maybe the system acknowledges when someone has a smurf account at takes into consideration the elo from the originall account. I mean it doesn't sound imposible if you have your main account and your smurf accounts linked to the same e-mail. (Wich I know you can do)
