Vi vs Poppy

I don't have a recording of it just yet but maybe I'm wrong on whose ultimate takes precedence but I just played a game with a vi against a poppy. When Vi started her ult poppy was able to use her ult and knock up vi and cancel her ult putting both of their ults on cd and causing vi to immediately stop where she was hit by poppy ult. I understand Vi's ult being stopped by steadfast presence but it should not be stopped by Keeper's verdict. Am I wrong?

Vi's ult is not stopped by Poppy's W.

And if Poppy throws you to the other side of the map, should the ult really keep going?

Then I will get a practice match because I certainly just witnessed Poppy ult stop the Vi ult. It is an odd interaction which is why I asked but Vi ult should not be stopped by Poppy ult but was in the game I just witnessed.
