Every time I start the game and go to buy something the game freezes, after that hitting escape to pull up the options makes the game freeze, and then there is the game freezing when the game ends surrender or natural end. Please help this is ridiculous!!!
I just reported the bug. Here's a compilation of the issues I'm having
Extra long load screen: Where I used to load significantly faster than my friend being as my laptop and isp outperform him across the board, he now completely loads and is in the game for 30 seconds before I even start to load (I end up in game at about 0:48-0:55)
Waiting for the above issue, it crashed on me, I was taken outside of the game where it didn't mention that match at all. Then it didn't let me start a match, so i reloaded the client and upon reloading it attempted to load the match I was in, which once again took an eternity. The game ended in remake before I could join, 20 point LP loss.
Shop freezes for 8-12 seconds when I switch from "recommended" to "all items" and vice versa.
Multikills sometimes freeze me for ~10 seconds. (more frequently when I'm the one doing the killing)
End game Victory/Defeat freezes me for about 2-3 minutes. I can't alt tab, the only thing I can do is ctrl alt delete THEN it lets me alt tab to my leisure but at that point it takes 5-6 minutes for game to unfreeze so I can assign honor and (if anyone's still left) comment on the game.
If someone dodges in champ select due to the timer hitting zero it (occasionally) has the timer locked at zero, I waited about 3-5 minutes before closing the game and reloading, assuming the lock up was indefinite.
I've also had this bug since the last patch. I ran a full repair and nothing changed so I uninstalled, did a disk cleanup, reinstalled, and same thing. It only happens when I'm trying to shop or when I click the "show stats" things on the bottom to check my AD or look at my runes. I don't even know where to begin to fix it though since everything I tried failed including running in compatibility mode and with admin rights.
im literally having the same problem and this basically makes league unplayable because you lose the level 2 matchup cause you cant get to lane on time and it causes you to basically throw game in higher elo. shop freezes, the game black screens waiting on load in, when you pull up in game options the game freezes when you get victory screen game freezes before showing it, this only happens after patch 8.6. this actually makes the game non playable pretty much, especially for ranked.

I'm also having the exact same issue but none of my friends seem to be having it at all. Honestly making the game pretty unplayable and really tilting right off the hop. It also moves my team icons back above the minimap (when I prefer to have them left side) so hitting esc to try and fix the setting usually fixes it but freezes me until minions get to lane or longer.
I've also full repaired and nothing has changed.
