Client freezing during champ select

Client frequently freezes during champion select. More specifically when the clock hits zero either during the champ select or ban process.

Happens to me multiple times per week and is causing me to have to sit and wait out the dodge timer penalty.

My internet connection is fine, all other websites, media, etc... work just fine. I don't lag or get disconnected on any other programs. It's solely an issue with the LoL client.

This needs to be fixed immediately. Being a billion dollar company, I am unsure how you guys at Riot have such a constantly buggy client.

Please provide a patch, solution....something..... so I don't have to keep sitting out for 15 minutes because I "dodged"

Im so fucking tired of this. Happens to me at least twice daily. Then sometimes after I get booted from lobby the client doesn't even re load and all I see is my friends list and a black screen. This never happened on the old client. Come on Riot... HELP US!!!!!!!!!!!

Same thing has been happening to me, like with ban phase im unable to ban so then i get a forced dodge. I never lose connection with my voice chat or other websites. And this is extremely infuriating especially in ranked games.

Has anyone figured out how to fix this? I havn't had this problem before but now it happens all the time. Google only got me to this thread, so I guess bump...

Same problem is happening to my wife and myself. We are on discord when it is happening. Sometimes to just one of us. Sometimes to both of us. Also some of our in-game-friends are having the same thing happen to them as well. This is NOT my internet connection. Internet continues to work just fine. This is a LoL client bug and it is bad enough that it just broke up a gaming group because people dont want to wait on others' "dodge" timers.

Same things been happening to me too. Already happened 4 times today, I lost 40 lp points in ranked just today. My screen is freezing right after its my turn to pick a champion. The timer freezes, I cant change champion, cant change my runes, sometimes I am able to select my champion. I try to reopen the client, but it completely freezes. After about 30 seconds, it says I have left during champion selection. Queue dodge making me wait 30 mins. THIS HAPPENED 4 times in one day. Probably would happen more.

I have the same problem freeze during the champ select or ban Phase sometimes it freeze in waitin on the game

Exactly the same thing to me , i lost so much lp and fell division because of this bug , and you have limited time to wait , usually for 5 min but i even get 30 min (bcs of the champion select leaving ) Riot is dumb or blind ? They cannot make a patch without causing problems on playing ..

Still having this issue to this day, unfortunately. Please let me know if there is a fix, I can't stand waiting out 30 minute "dodge" timers, it's lame...

Same thing is happening to me...over and over. I have been playing Lol for over 4 years and this just started happening in 2018 to me. My connection is the same as it has been and the cpu is the same, I dont get it!!! the counter goes to 0 and i have to hope i have already chosen my champ. If i have then all i do is

go to cmd.exe

ipconfig/release ipconfig/renew

then ipconfig/flushdns

after that sometimes it will reconnect to the game loading screen. Its seems like the champ select screen is the problem because I cant get it to freeze up in a custom game with bots.

The weird thing is it's random. I'll go months (so through multiple different patches) without it happening and then several days of it continuously happening. Have you guys noticed while the countdown freezes the in client chat still works in real time?

I've also had problems logging into the client or getting to start. I'm having to go to the LoL folder and use the 4 year old launcher.exe file to get the game to start properly.

Riot will ignore this lol I have had the same problem on and off for a few years. It seems that they can't release a patch without getting something else messed up.

Same issue is happening to me over and over again...Got demoted alrdy because of it. Please Riot give information about what should be done at this point.

This is honestly getting out of hand I have lost over 100 lp due to this bug or what ever it is. Its honestly starting to become over bearing please fix it or at least address it.
