LoL crash and download bug on Mac

I played LoL all night last night, and then come 4:00 am ish Eastern Time my game crashed. I reconnected and it crashed again, like 5 times. I finally closed out of League and reopened, and it gave me the unexpected problem response. So, I deleted LoL and went to redownload and install it, but of course when I click on the download page it takes me to a blank page that says Google Chrome cannot connect to riot server! So, I can't even download it to try to reinstall. I looked on the boards, and it seems a lot of other people on Mac, maybe Yosemite?, are having this issue. All of the responses to fix it seem to either not work or be for Windows users...

Can we at least get a mod or someone to respond? Because we're all thinking the issue is on our end, and it would really ease some tension and worry if you'd just tell us there's a bug with Yosemite or something
