Loading into pick ban lobby

Im currently experiencing issues about 1/ 10 games loading into the pick and ban page my league client is crashing causing me to lose lp. Has anyone else been experiencing this issue. Screen gets frozen at 32 seconds to pick your champion. Only way to rectify this is to close client and reopen. Using windows 8 and have just been experiencing this since the current patch.

This is happening in about half of my game lobbies, it lags super hard, then when it comes back it's either my turn or my turn just passed and I got kicked out. A couple of times I can see the countdown but my whole client is darkened with a loading screen in the middle. I've lost a ton of lp because of this, kinda unfair. This isn't even the only client bug I'm experiencing, the game needs some serious fixing.
