My client is having problems! (We are unable to log you in because you appear to be offline)

I do not know why this is happening. I do not know what I should do. I am online, my net is doing just fine. But this issue keeps happening and I cannot log in with comfort. And I cannot enjoy the game, neither can my brother. Please, Riot, find a remedy for this? I hear others have faced this issue. Thanks.
