Black screen of death (true elo hell)

Hi ,

I have been experiencing some problems with the game and I have read multiple discussions regarding this issue, as well as sending multiple reports to riot but for some reason there never seems to be an answer to solve this problem.

In at least 30% of my games, right after i leave champ select, I cant make it to the loading screen no matter what i do. Even worse, alt-tab doesnt work and i cant even stop the program from running, ctrl-alt-dlt doesn't work either and I am forced to just shut down my computer and restart it manually. Ive got a pretty decent computer and I am very certain that the specs are not a problem. It is not a connection problem either because this problem can occur right after a game where it everything is working just fine, no frame drops, no spike in pings, literally nothing is wrong. The problems just occurs randomly and i cant figure out why this is occurring or how to fix it.

I tried to fix this problem in literally every way imaginable, even in places where i dont think there are problems. I have tried the common solutions, like hextech repair tool, restarting your router, initiating a full repair or reinstalling the game. it has nothing to do with my firewall because some games work perfectly. Majority of the common solutions didnt work at all, the only one that temporarily fixed my game was hextech repair tool, but than something went wrong with that too, and it ended up just not working at all (i have tried to fix the hextech repair tool too summoner 3 ) .

This leads to me becoming afk in games, losing LP, and getting smacked with a 20 min ban for 5 games. problem is, I pretty much have a permanent 20 min queue, because the chances of getting the problem in within those 5 games is quite probable. So the counter for the 20 min queue is reset back to 5 constantly. [zombie-brand-facepalm]

I have gotten extremely frustrated with this problem and it seems like people have experienced similar problems with mine, however mine seems a lot more severe than the others.

so this is a cry for help to defeat this black screen of death that reaps death upon LP and cursing people with 20 min queue times.

I am open to every and any suggestion (though i have probably tried it)

I was just about to make a nearly identical post after having tested this theory on the problem. I too have been having the black screen of death which has (as far as I can tell) no noted solution. I created a second account since I was on 20 minute "Leavebuster" queues. I made it all the way to level 9 on the account before tragedy happened. My first game of the night, roughly 15 minutes ago. I was choosing Master Yi with Smite, Flash, and the pre-made red rune page. I have sent in multiple bug reports for the problem with no reply. I did not begin to have this problem until the most recent patch. I'm just replying to let you know you're not alone on this issue and if you are having it there is virtually nothing you can do about it as far as I know.
