login freeze

For the last month or so, every time I log in my pc, mouse and everything else freezes. I have to wait 20 seconds for it to fix itself. Furthermore, my homepage has black layout everything is black. http://i.imgur.com/2mysPHg.jpg?1

Tried to ignore it. As stupid as it sounds it has caused me to basically stop playing because it is so annoying.
