Ranked got janked [CRASH]

During my second promotional game (best two out of three okay!) around three minutes into the match the game crashed with a familiar bug splat screen.

When I tried to log back in quickly the launcher begins checking file differences... It doesn't hang at 33% like I was dreading, but the process takes several minutes. Ultimately nothing is downloaded and I am let back into the game.
