Last game, I played Thresh and supported a Jhin. My first item was relic shield. I ran up to a minion with ~100hp and basic-attacked it, but the minion survived with ~20hp. The relic shield worked in every way EXCEPT it did not execute minions beneath a health threshold. This occurred before and after I put a point in my E.
Thresh's basic attacks are ranged, and only melee basic attacks can proc the execute damage. You still get the heal/gold share from Relic Shield no matter how you kill it though.
Threshes auto attacks are considered ranged, so they don't activate the execut passive.
You have to last hit the minions now as thresh its stupid ive just completely stopped building it on him if im not duo bot lane
Thresh has ranged auto attacks, therefore his auto attacks do not execute minions when you have relic shield.
