Last game, I played Thresh and supported a Jhin. My first item was relic shield. I ran up to a minion with ~100hp and basic-attacked it, but the minion survived with ~20hp. The relic shield worked in every way EXCEPT it did not execute minions beneath a health threshold. This occurred before and after I put a point in my E.
Deep Terror Nami2 votesThresh's basic attacks are ranged, and only melee basic attacks can proc the execute damage. You still get the heal/gold share from Relic Shield no matter how you kill it though.
