Mordekaiser W Bug

So while playing a game as Mordekaiser and trying to use his W to target ally's it would never target that ally that I wanted. It would never target minions or his Ghost from his ult and it would always target the nearest champion and nothing else. I tested this maybe just being a quick-cast error but it persisted even after using normal cast. After the game i went into a custom to test this to make sure it wasn't just a one time thing but it continued to only cast to the nearest champion
