I've played my eight games and been placed. I played a handful of games and was promoted up to Silver 4. After failing promo's to Silver 3 I find myself back in Bronze 4 and the system shows I've played 1 of 8 provisional games and am ranked bronze 4. What's going on? Clearly this is a bug?

In this season, RIOT has introduced different ranks for EACH role. If you haven’t been playing the same role every time you have played ranked, than that is why you see different ranks.

Okay yup, that is it! Just logged in and checked my profile. Seems super weird but okay.
