Sion Ultimate Bug in 5.8

Was just playing Sion in a game on summoner's rift and found out that his ult gets smartcasted even when it isn't set. Also, a Vi interrupted my ult and I could no longer smartcast it afterwards. Even after resetting the key bind there were still issues. To confirm this, I went on Howling Abyss checked to see if I could recreate the instance. Low and behold, I could still only smartcast the sion ultimate even when the key wasn't binded to quickcast. I don't have a link, so I hope this helps.

Wait, what? How is normal casting supposed to be any different from quick casting on Sion's ult? It's not a targeted spell or a skillshot that would require you aim at something. On first cast you start running in the direction you are facing and on second cast or if you hit a wall/champion you stop.
