In Champion Selection my client bugged

After banning a champion (pressing the ban button), my client didnt show the whole selection of other players anymore, also i couldnt click to choose my own champion anymore. I still could type in chat and read what others responded with a huge delay. When it was my turn to select a champion, i couldnt pick one and my client went back to start where i couldnt click anything either. Did an update go wrong? I just had a very small one before logging in.
