Game freezing in early game, every game.

Just making a post to join the rest of the posts about this issue, and I hope others will as well until I see at least a FUCKING ACKNOWLEDGEMENT from Riot. Seriously, just let us know you are aware of this issue, I dont care if you can fix it or not yet. JUST. FUCKING. COMMUNICATE. WITH YOUR AUDIENCE.

As for the bug. Game freezes in early game, usually resulting in a forced application close from task manager. Same as everyone elses problem.

IDK Why there isnt a big frontpage post on Reddit yet. Is the group of people affected really this small?

I don't know why Riot is ignoring us. There is no way they haven't seen the posts.

I've tried the repair tool, but I've not tried uninstalling / reinstalling.

However, after googling this problem, I saw that someone from EUW had the same a few months back.

As such, I have my R3D log and my PerfDump.RPD logs.

The included video clip is at the moment that I "freeze", 4:02. I have to exit the game through task manager, and reconnect, and the whole process takes about a minute.

I've tried the Hextech repair + reinstall, the latter failed to work so I manually uninstalled/reinstalled the game.

What kind of CPU+GPU do you have?

yeah me too when pyke showed up my screen freezing forever in early game like 4minutes in every game i uninstall the app, i repair it 5times but stil lfreezing in early game...

I normally have a firefox window open running pandora in the background. Lately, the first "teamfight" in aram makes the whole game freeze. Have to pull up task manager and kill it that way and restart. Not sure what the deal is. Riot said to run league w/ nothing else in the background as the fix. Never had an issue running background programs though, esp low resource ones. Granted my pc is a few years old but running an 8gb ddr video card, 32gb ram, quad core amd 2.4ghz i think, on an ssd.. Also tried the hextech repair w/ no improvement.

Are you using Mac or Windows?

Its been happening on my Mac. 1 random crash every few games

Same, pretty sure its because my computer is ancient though. Still running a Phenom 9550, and Radeon 4870 with only 4 GB DDR 2 RAM ><

I swear ever since season 8 preseason with all the new runes, optimisation for League has noticeably declined. Higher end PCs struggling to keep their high FPS and getting major frame drops. League used to be one of the most optimised games. Dunno what happened.

I have the same problem. Every game no matter if it's ARAM or Summoner's Rift it crushes at min 5-8. It is since Pyke was developed. I tryed the automatic repair + reinstall and nothing helped. I play EUNE. Intel Core i7-3630MQ CPU 2,4GHz, RAM 8 GB, windows 8, proc 64 bits, And I do the same thing. Exit by manager + recconect
