cant unlock champs in new client

I have accumulated enough IP to get a new champ and make a new rune page for em, but ever since I installed the new client I have been unable to unlock any new champs. is this a known issue, or is my dumb ass overlooking something obvious?

Same problem here. I know that the new client is still in beta, but kinda crazy we cannot unlock champions.

You can still unlock champs just go through the Store then Champions and purchase with IP.
