Zoe Q Damage not applying properly.

I dont know if it's both parts of Zoe's Q or just the second part but it appears if she dies while its in the air it stops doing damage. Ive attached a video showing my Q flying right through a lux while I died just moments before it hit home. Given the difficult situation I cant easily test if the first Q star stops doing damage after death either. Given the nature of almost all other skill shots still applying after death I cant see why Zoe's wouldnt too.
