Heimers turret-ulties

I have experienced the following bug at least 5 times since the last patch and can confirm that the following is an issue:

  1. When Heimerdinger's turrets "Charge" 100% and release the ulti, so that the "beam" is actually visible and the animation hits the target, the target will take no damage if the turret dies after it has fired. This goes for both the ulti-tower and normal towers.

  2. When Heimerdinger's turrets "Charge" 100% and release the ulti, and dies** BEFORE **the beam animation is activated, you will still hear the ulti-sound and the turret animation for shooting the ulti will show. No damage again. This goes for both the ulti-tower and normal towers.

If the function is working as intended, meaning that turret-spell will only do damage if it's the turret is alive, please remove the animation and please remove the sounds. If this is not working as intended, please correct the bug so that the champions hit by a dead turrets ulti will take damage accordingly.

My personal opinion regarding this matter is that the turrets should indeed do damage even if they are dead, just like all the spells from all the champions across the board.

Please let me know when you confirm this and when the fix will be released.

Experienced the same thing today - again. It has become more than 100% clear. How does this bug report work? Do I get a confirmation that Riot have seen it and will look in to it? Or will this just be ignored?
