i got a new computer today and i can't get on league at all. when i open the client its just completely black no launch button or pictures, i can't use the cogwheel at the top i can only move it minimize it and close it. what do i do to fix this?
I'm having the same issue as well! I posted about this same issue but now my client turned white

I finally figured it out!
Go to" C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\projects" Delete the Folder called "lol_launcher" Relaunch League of Legends Patcher will download a new "lol_launcher"

the thing that bugs me most is how it works perfectly fine on my laptop which is overall worse then my desktop
So I got it to work for me by deleting lol_launcher AND lol_patcher files in C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\projects It redownloads some stuff, but im not getting the whitescreen/blackscreen on the patcher anymore. Try that.
ok well i have tried basically everything that any forum post or video has offered for a solution and no change :\ guess i just cant play until riot decides to fix it
Had this problem last week, you have to disable your anti-virus. I have AVG. I temporarily disable it until restart and lol works. Hope this helps.
I had the same problem as you. All I did was go into my firewall and allow League of Legends through. Most of it says the LoL Patcher is allowed but it didn't list the League of Legends program itself. Try that
What worked for me, i deleted all the Lol_ air client folders and disabled my antiviruses and fire wall and it works nw
All you need to do is go to your files. Go to downloads. And delete the league of legends file. Click the league of legends app and it will work perfectly!
