Azir's ultimate going through Malzahar [GAMEPLAY]

I found an instance where Azir's ultimate will still go through a champion even though they weren't spell shielded. I don't know if this was the actual cause of it going through Malzahar, but I couldn't think of anything else. I suspect that this would also happen with WW cause of he can suppress as well.

  1. Azir and Malzahar both need to be level 6.
  2. Azir needs to have a point in all of his abilities.
  3. Azir should W + Q a soldier behind Malzahar (the whole sequence happened very quickly so I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it or if you can take these steps slowly).
  4. Azir should E to the soldier that his behind Malzahar. Right before Azir collides with Malzahar, Malzahar should use his ultimate. This has to be done correctly so that right when Malzahar ults, Azir collides with him. This will interrupt Malzahar's ult.
  5. As soon as the above steps are finished (and I was literally spamming R to use it as soon as I could) then Azir should use his ult at Malzahar.

These are the events that made Azir's ult go through Malzahar even though he wasn't spell-shielded. I'm pretty sure the cause was the fact that Malzahar's ult was interrupted and Azir's ult was cast immediately after it was interrupted.

It has only happened once because I haven't asked a friend to help me recreate it. If I do in the future then I will update this post.
