Nexus turret laser sound effect bug.

This bug occurs after an inhibitor on any side has been destroyed and minions reach the nexus turrets, which attack the minions with its lasers. After the minions are killed, the turrets will still create the turret laser sound effect even though no enemy minions are near the turrets. This can occur even if the inhibitor has respawned. This bug is very frequent, its chance of occurring is 50%. It can ruin the playing experience since it creates unnecessary sounds when near the turrets.

This bug has been around since they updated the map. I'm frankly surprised there haven't been more reports

It's not a bug. It's the sound of the turrets regenerating health.

That happened once when I was playing Vlad, I ulted and the sound wouldn't stop

When I first started League back in May last year, I've always had this problem and it would annoy be so much. I hope this gets fixed.

In my experience, this isn't unique to the Nexus turrets, I've had similar things happen(multiple times before) with the sound effects from kog'maw's passive, tryndamere's insult (that was an odd game, there was clucking in the background for like 15 minutes), final boss Veigar's death sound, Sona's ult, Sion's ult (the global sound, not him shouting), and Mordekaiser's siphon.

I think what's actually happening is that there's a glitch in the audio code in the game engine itself...

This kind of bug has been around for a while. The same thing happens sometimes when people use item 3157 .

This bug happens so often I have somewhat become accustomed to it, I've known it was a bug but never actually addressed it on the Boards.

I have noticed this bug often as well. It is very common and quite annoying. very similar to a bug where master Yi is meditating when he is killed and the sound of his meditation continues in that spot until he re-spawns in the nexus.

We should just keep telling Riot that it is a game breaking bug so we can get the Nexus laser to sound like "PEW PEW" every time it fires.
