My friends taskbar isnt loading in his client

I got my friend to start playing League of Legends with me. Ever since he got the game his taskbar at the bottom of his client hasn't been there. He tried the fix already on the forums and it didn't work. He has windows 10 and we are looking for a solution. If anyone has any ideas that would be appreciated. Thanks.

Is there a space for it, or is it like the client got cut off there? I assume you're talking about the part where friends lists and chat rooms are displayed.
