I played one game that was completely fine after that game I had an update on my computer for windows. Now the next two games I played just crash and freeze when I start the game or try to reconnect. Anyone know how to fix this? I have tried to reinstall once and am currently reinstalling again.
Ive had this trouble after updating my Windows. It isn't League's fault but the new update for Windows. Tried to play two games and my laptop end up crashing as soon the game starts. Not to mention my laptop got much laggier because of the update. Recommend reverting your computer back to the recent update if you want your computer to see the light of day.
Hope this helps found it on another thread. So I found out what is wrong with the game and why it keeps crashing. It has to do with the resolution that your computer is running. The screen resolution does not match up with the resolution of the game configurations. I will tell you how to fix that.
Go to your Riot games folder. Open the Config folder Open game.cfg file with notepad. Under [GENERAL] change the Height= Width= To the resolution of your monitor or screen. Mine was set to 900 and 1440, and I am using a 1024 and 1280 monitor. Start the game. It will work.

Same thing is happening to me, anyone know how to revert back? My most recent restore point was last night when I reinstalled league, nothing available further though... RIP
I'm having the exact same problem but when I try to revert to a previous update it says those files have been removed from the computer. Wtf? I guess I'll just have to wait for either league or windows to fix the issue
Is there a fix for this other than reverting my windows?
