Audio Cuts out when loading or exiting a game

Using razor kraken 7.1.2 headset via USB into an ASUS laptop 2018 specs, 16gb ram, windows 10.

When leaving character select and entering a game, audio and voice chat both die until the game loads. When the game ends, the same thing happens until I am back in the league of legends client after the game, which takes about a minute or two.
