Patcher Kernel Error

It's 2/10/16 and the game's been patched. A friend told me to patch up, which I was about to do. When I clicked on the LoL icon it showed the logo and then showed a window saying the Patcher Kernel's not responding and then a window replacing that one saying there's been a problem with the Patcher Kernel. My other friend is having this problem too. Has this been a problem to anyone before? Thanks.
