Can't Log With League Client; Logging Onto The Website Is Fine???

The client disconnected me right as I was going into a ranked game and would not let me reconnect, so I restarted my computer (as that usually helps me, for the most part). However, I type in the right password several times and it still says that I cannot log in because the login information is incorrect. I think, "that's impossible." I log onto League's website using the same password and it works fine. I figured, "okay...I'll just try changing the password." I log out of the website, request for a password change, and successfully change the password. I log into the website with the new password, it works. I close the League client one more time and attempt to log in using the new credentials: still won't log me in.

Now I'm facing a loss in ranked for "dodging."

I used the client repair thing and so far it's been working, but I'm tired of getting disconnected from games just because the client doesn't know how to properly update itself.

There were so many instances where the client would start updating while I was mid-game, cause me lag, and then eventually stop right after the game ends, only to start again after I start a new game. Then it would crash on me and tell me that it's reverting to an older version so that it's more stable...like...what the heck??

The client repair tool made this issue worse for me... it went from the same issue with him to an issue where I cant even download files but my internet is fine
