Can't Log With League Client; Logging Onto The Website Is Fine???

The client disconnected me right as I was going into a ranked game and would not let me reconnect, so I restarted my computer (as that usually helps me, for the most part). However, I type in the right password several times and it still says that I cannot log in because the login information is incorrect. I think, "that's impossible." I log onto League's website using the same password and it works fine. I figured, "okay...I'll just try changing the password." I log out of the website, request for a password change, and successfully change the password. I log into the website with the new password, it works. I close the League client one more time and attempt to log in using the new credentials: still won't log me in.

Now I'm facing a loss in ranked for "dodging."
