Communication Pinging Problem [GAMEPLAY]

So I haven't played league in about two months. I started playing again last night and have been having a weird systemic issue with pings. I can't g-ping to attack towers. My v-ping doesn't retreat, it opens up the circular menu like the g-ping. Also, when I try to use the circular g-ping menu, there is a long line that extends from the center of the menu past the edge of my screen, in the direction my mouse is, which allows me to select which ping option I want. However, it is really hard to select an option as I have to swing my mouse around the outer edges of the screen in order to select one of the four pings. Help please!
