[GAMEPLAY] Garen's Q will not attack Nexus in Aram

Just experienced this in ARAM. I activated my q to get the extra bonus damage and tried to attack the enemy nexus but it wouldn't hit it. I tried to run around and hit it from the side and it finally would hit it. But from what I experienced if you try to attack the enemy Nexus head on with your q activated, Garen just stands there, running from side to side (I guess trying to find the correct angle to hit it?) Though my normal auto attacks without his Q activated would hit from anywhere within his AA range. I'm not sure if it's meant to be like this or if it's a bug i experienced but just wanted to let it be known.
