You would think after so many years that Riot would notice that every time they update their game the sound explodes their ear drums. apparently they use headphones this has been a problem since i started isn't it about time we got that fixed?
It remembers my in-client settings, but the computer forgets after each patch if I have the client volume lowered in the sound mixer in Windows. This is more of a problem with Windows than with the game itself, and probably nothing Riot can really do about it. Your best bet is to use the in-client sound adjustments to set it where you want, and leave it alone in the windows volume mixer.
