Freezing / lagging Client

So, I don't have images, but this has been going on for almost six - seven months now, and I kept forgetting to report it, but now I can't even really do anything without it freezing and saying it's not responding anymore. Makes the entire client go grey and offers the "Close this program" or "Wait for the program to load" window. I would just click wait for the program to load, and it takes a longtime, but does load, but if i click anything it happens all over again. I go through this about seven times before it actually starts working, but once i get into a game the game itself never loads and kicks me out multiple times to the point I've actually had games end without me even in them. This actually happened about three weeks ago, my friends and i were trying to play a normal, i thought it was going smoothly then i never loaded. They thought i just quit, but I don't do that. I cannot play what so ever, and I have no idea why. I've reinstalled it at least twice now too.
